Live an authentic experience
Cascina Capo is the result of the careful renovation and expansion of a property that once included two homes and an old stable. It covers approximately 13,000 square meters, 4,000 of which are vineyards in the Valpolicella DOC area.
The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery on a hill in the hamlet of Torbe, in the municipality of Negrar di Valpolicella, offering panoramic views of Valpolicella and the Verona plain. Additionally, we have leased a 23,500-square-meter plot of land in San Peretto, which includes an olive grove and other crops.
The land in San Peretto also hosts a persimmon grove and will soon feature new aromatic plants. Our beehives will be moved here, and we will also be starting a snail farm and a small vegetable garden.
The farm is committed to environmental sustainability by adopting organic practices and installing photovoltaic panels. We also have a rainwater harvesting system to reduce our environmental impact and preserve biodiversity.

Currently, our land is cultivated with vines, olive trees, potatoes, and pumpkins. Following the renovation and expansion projects, for which we received support, we have also introduced:
- Beekeeping;
- Snail farming, for both mucin extraction and meat;
- The cultivation of medicinal plants for extracting essential oils;
- The cultivation and processing of vegetables.
Some of our farm's products will be sold and processed directly on-site (in our small farm shop), while produce like grapes and olives will continue to be supplied to local wineries and mills.
A place for inclusion, education, and well-being
Our social farm is a welcoming environment where agriculture, inclusion, and sustainability meet. We also organise wellness courses, such as yoga, art therapy, and dance therapy, in collaboration with local professionals and associations. The farm also provides growth opportunities for people with disabilities through job placements, internships, and occupational workshops, promoting autonomy and inclusion.
