Educational Farm

Grow with nature

At the Educational Farm of Cascina Capo, children and young people discover the agricultural world through direct experience. Among vineyards, vegetable gardens and beehives, our programmes guide students in exploring bees and pollinating insects, the journey from garden to table, and the seasons that shape the rhythm of working the land.

Guided visits, hands-on workshops and harvesting and processing activities bring together learning and fun, promoting respect for the environment and a healthy approach to food education. A genuine opportunity to grow in contact with nature, in a place where farming, sustainability and community come together every day.

Bees and pollinating insects

A journey into the world of bees and pollinating insects, the silent guardians of biodiversity and agricultural production. Through a guided farm visit and hands-on activities, students are introduced to the life of the hive, discover the social organisation of bees, the work of the beekeeper and the precious gifts that come from it. An experience that nurtures respect for the environment and awareness of the deep bond between nature and farming.

From garden to table

An experience that takes students on a journey of discovery through the farm's vegetable garden and orchard. During the guided visit, participants learn to recognise seasonal fruit and vegetables, explore their growing cycle and take part in the harvest with their own hands. The produce collected is then prepared in the kitchen and enjoyed together, offering a real understanding of the journey from the soil to the table and building a healthy relationship with food.

Green Week

A week-long educational programme designed for GREST (Italian parish summer camps) and summer centres, offering children and young people an authentic immersion in the agricultural world. Through hands-on activities, workshops, games and outdoor moments, participants explore the vegetable garden, the orchard and the world of bees, following the path that takes products from cultivation to transformation. An experience that brings young people closer to nature, teaches respect for the environment and a healthy approach to food, while also fostering socialisation and active participation.
